Benchmark indices ended higher today. On October 4, Sensex closed 1,276.66 points higher at 58,065.47, whereas Nifty ended 386.95 points high at 17,274.30.
In the previous season, on October 3, Sensex closed 638.11 points lower at 56788.81, whereas Nifty ended 207.00 points low at 16,887.35.
IndusInd Bank, Adani Ports, Coal India, Hero MotoCorp and Bajaj Finance were among the top gainers on the Nifty. On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories were the top losers.
