At the time of writing this update London White Sugar #5 front month contract (SWV22) is trading at $553/ton, whereas the New York Sugar #11 front month contract (SBH23) is trading at 18.55 c/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar at 82.174 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.1961, Crude futures traded at ₹7402, Crude WTI traded at $90.03/barrel. Sensex closed 843.79 points lower at 57,147.32 whereas Nifty ended 257.45 points lower at 16,983.55
