Benchmark indices ended higher today. On October 12, Sensex closed 478.59 points higher at 57,625.91, whereas Nifty ended 140.05 points up at 17,123.60.
In the previous season, on October 11, Sensex closed 843.79 points lower at 57,147.32, whereas Nifty ended 257.45 points down at 16,983.55.
Power Grid Corporation, Axis Bank, Coal India, Bajaj Auto and NTPC were among the top Nifty gainers. Asian Paints, Adani Enterprises, Dr Reddy’s Labs, Bharti Airtel and ICICI Bank were the top losers.
