Benchmark indices ended higher today. On October 14, Sensex closed 684.64 points higher at 57,919.97, whereas Nifty ended 189.75 points up at 17,204.10.
In the previous season, on October 13, Sensex closed 390.58 points lower at 57,235.33, whereas Nifty ended 109.25 points down at 17,014.35.
Infosys, HDFC Bank, HDFC, UPL and HCL Tech were among the top Nifty gainers. ONGC, M&M, Bajaj Auto, JSW Steel and Hindalco Industries were the top losers.
