Haldar: Bilai sugar mill has completed the preparations to start the cane crushing operations and taking a step forward the mill has ignited the boiler after performing rituals, reports Amarujala.
The rituals were conducted on Friday in the mill premises and the in-charge of the mill Vikas Tyagi ignited the boiler of the mill.
“We are now conducting a trial of the plant, instruments and machinery of the mill and once we complete it we will issue indents so that the farmers will send us to cane in time for starting crushing operations,” he said.
Mill has set up 65 cane collection centres out of 92 centres and the mill employees are busy in cleaning the machinery to start the crushing operations.
