RBS Renewables plans to produce ethanol through its 200 KLPB grain-based distillery which will be set up at Udapur village, Bramhapuri taluka in Chandrapur district, Maharashtra, reports Projectstoday.
The company will also set up a 5.5 MW co-generation power plant as the project will be spread over 22.61 acres of land.
The company is awaiting environmental clearance and the contractor along with the machinery supplier are yet to be finalized.
The project is likely to begin in 2023 and is scheduled to complete by mid-2024.
