Benchmark indices ended higher today. On October 18, Sensex closed 549.62 points higher at 58,960.60, whereas Nifty ended 175.15 points up at 17,486.95.
In the previous season, On October 17, Sensex closed 491.01 points higher at 58,410.98, whereas Nifty ended 126.10 points up at 17,311.80.
SBI, Adani Ports, Eicher Motors, Nestle India and SBI Life Insurance were among the top Nifty gainers. NTPC, HDFC, Bajaj Auto, Tech Mahindra and Britannia Industries were the top losers.
