Benchmark indices ended higher today. On October 20, Sensex closed 95.71 points higher at 59,202.90, whereas Nifty ended 51.70 points up at 17,563.95.
In the previous season, on October 19, Sensex closed 146.59 points higher at 59,107.19, whereas Nifty ended 25.30 points up at 17,512.25.
UPL, Adani Enterprises, Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech and Adani Ports were among the top Nifty gainers. IndusInd Bank, Asian Paints, Apollo Hospitals, UltraTech Cement and HDFC Bank were the top losers.
