Benchmark indices ended higher today. On October 27, Sensex closed 212.88 points higher at 59,756.84, whereas Nifty ended 80.60 points up at 17,736.95.
In the previous season, on October 25, Sensex closed 287.70 points lower at 59,543.96, whereas Nifty ended 74.40 points up at 17,656.35.
JSW Steel, Hindalco Industries, Tata Steel, Adani Ports and Power Grid Corporation were among the top Nifty gainers, while losers included Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Asian Paints, Bajaj Auto and Nestle India.
