Benchmark indices ended higher today. On October 28, Sensex closed 203.01 points higher at 59,959.85, whereas Nifty ended 49.85 points up at 17,786.80.
In the previous season, on October 27, Sensex closed 212.88 points higher at 59,756.84, whereas Nifty ended 80.60 points up at 17,736.95.
On the sectoral front, selling was seen in metals, IT and financials, while buying was seen in autos, infra and energy space
