Bijnor: Sugarcane minister Laxminarayan Chaudhary will innaugurate the cane-crushing season of Dwarikesh sugar mill, reports Amarujala.
Along with this Bahadurpur mill of Dwarikesh group, Dhampur sugar mill and Barkatpur sugar mills will also start their crushing operations.
There are nine sugar mills in the district for crushing sugarcane produced in an area of about 2.25 lakh hectares.
Out of nine sugar mills, four will start operations on Friday and the remaining will start the season soon.
