Bharat Plus Ethanol is setting up a 100 KLPD grain-based distillery unit at Nawanagar in the Buxar district of Bihar, reports Project Today.
Around 80% of the work has been completed and the unit is expected to be ready by the first quarter of 2024.
The unit will also see development of 3.2 MW co-generation power plant. The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF) has accorded environment clearance for the project.
