Rishikesh: Doiwala sugar mill in Uttarakhand will soon start cane crushing operations, reports Live Hindustan.
The mill initiated the process to start operations and the officials performed Puja and other rituals on Sunday before starting season.
Resident Director of the mill, Dinesh Pratap Singh, said that the mill has started preparations to start operations. At present, the boiler of the mill is started which heats water and power generation begins in the mill to run the turbines. Soon the mill will start crushing operations, he said.
