Bagalkot, Karnataka: Sugarcane farmers continue their agitation demanding higher fair and remunerative prices (FRP) by blocking roads in Mudhol and other places in the district, reports The Times of India
Farmers blocked the Dharwad-Vijayapura road and other major roads inside the city which resulted in traffic jams. Traffic was affected at Gaddanakeri, near Bagalkot on the Raichur-Belgavi, and Solapur-Hubballi highways.
No violent incidents have been reported anywhere in the district so far.
