Ethanol plants be set up under guidance of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari: Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that state government is working to enhance the economic prosperity of the farmers, reports Dailypioneer.

He was speaking at the Agro Vision programme organised by Union Road, Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari in Nagpur.

Stating that his state is top in wheat production in the country, Chouhan said, “We have implemented a 5-point strategy to make the agriculture sector prosperous in the state. We are focusing on increasing production, reducing costs, giving fair prices of crops, use of technology and providing necessary compensation for damages.”

He said, “Ethanol plants will also be set up under the guidance of Union Minister Gadkari. While trying to save foreign exchange expenditure by using petrol and diesel from fuel made from ethanol, we will also work for environmental protection.”
