Benchmark indices ended higher today. On November 29, Sensex closed 177.04 points higher at 62,681.84, whereas Nifty ended 55.30 points up at 18,618.05.
In the previous season, Sensex surged to a fresh lifetime high of 62,577.6 and settled at 62,504.80 and Nifty touched a lifetime high of 18,614.3 and ended the session at 18,562.75.
HUL, JSW Steel, Hero MotoCorp, Cipla and Britannia Industries were among the top Nifty gainers. The losers included IndusInd Bank, Coal India, Bajaj Finserv, Maruti Suzuki and Power Grid Corporation.
