Kattur Sugar Unit of the Kothari Sugars and Chemicals commenced cane crushing operations for the 2022-23 sugar season, announced the company, reports Business Standard.
The company has sugar units at Kattur and Sathamangalam in Tamil Nadu. The combined capacity of the company is 6,400 TCD. The distillery capacity of the company is 60 KLPD and it generates 33 MW of power.
Net sales of the company rose in Q2 FY23 by 30.2% YoY to Rs 116.81 crore and the net profit declined 75.2% to Rs 0.67 crore from Rs 2.70 crore in Q 2 FY22.
