Crystal Balaji Industries is setting up a 200 klpd capacity grain-based ethanol unit along with a five MW co-generation power plant at Begrajpur village in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, reports Projects Today.
The company is likely to commission the project in May 2023.
The project spread over 14.7 acres of land is expected to generate employment for about 136 individuals. The company received environmental clearance from the ministry of environment, forest and climate change (MoEF) in November 2021. The work on the project is progressing smoothly as per the schedule.
