Tata Motors gets RDE and E20-compliance for its vehicles

Tata Motors has announced that it has introduced BS6 phase II and all the vehicles manufactured by the company are E20 compliant and with Read Driving Emission (RDE), reports Autocarpro.

The new RDE-compliant engines are more responsive, claims the company.

The cars of the company are now compatible with E20 fuel, using 20% ethanol and 80% petrol. This will help in lowering pollution and lowering the expenditure on petrol.

Rajan Amba, Vice-President, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Care, at Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, said, “Our company has always followed the government mission to reduce vehicular pollution. We are constantly working on new technology to lower pollution and follow new emission standards.”
