Amroha, Uttar Pradesh: Sugarcane farmers under the banner of BKU have shown their resentment over the delay in cane payment by the sugar mills for the ongoing crushing season, reports Live Hindustan.
The members of BKU organised a meeting of cane farmers at Mandi Samiti on Monday. Addressing the gathering the speakers said that the government has failed to ensure that the sugar mills clear pending cane dues in time. They have demanded that the sugar mills should clear cane dues to the farmers in time.
