International Market
Sugar prices are rallying on tighter global supplies. At the time of writing this update London White Sugar #5 front month contract is trading at $703.80/ton, whereas the New York Sugar #11 front month contract is trading at 23.87 c/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices
The rupee traded against the US dollar at 82.090 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.0490, Crude futures traded at ₹6558, Crude WTI traded at $79.80/barrel. Sensex closed 311.21 points higher at 60,157.72 whereas Nifty ended 98.25points higher at 17722.30
