Kolhapur: Rajaram cooperative sugar mill’s poll has witnessed 91 per cent voter turnout on Sunday, reports The Times of India.
A total of 58 polling booths were set up for voting with heavy deployment of police to ensure peaceful voting. Polling was carried out peacefully in all 122 villages barring a few incidents.
Out of 13,538 voters, 12336 voters exercised their right. The election was held for 22 members governing body of Rajaram cooperative sugar mill.
The counting of votes will be done on Tuesday at Kolhapur.
