Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex ended 123.38 points higher at 62,027.90, whereas Nifty concluded 17.80 points up at 18,314.80.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 35.68 points lower at 61,904.52, whereas Nifty concluded 18.10 points down at 18,297.00.
Eicher Motors, M&M, IndusInd Bank were among the top gainers. Among sectors Nifty Bank performed the best and Nifty Metal shed the most.
