Mixed cues reported in domestic sugar prices

Prices of domestic sugar varied in the major markets, falling in Kolhapur and Kolkata while remaining stable in Muzaffarnagar and Delhi. The prices of sugar in Kolhapur were affected by the lower demand from Kolkata for a good pipeline. According to reports, prices in Kolkata and Kolhapur were reduced by Rs 5–10 per quintal. Prices for sugar in Muzaffarnagar (M grade) ranged from Rs 3,610 to Rs 3,630 per quintal, while those in Kolhapur (S grade) are in the range of Rs 3,380–3,410 per quintal.

According to Agrimandi.live, prices will continue to trade steadily with a positive bias, with limited downside. In the near future, we expect prices in the Kolhapur markets to trade between Rs 3,380 and Rs 3,460 per quintal.
