Gajraula, Uttar Pradesh: In a meeting organised by the BKU (Shankar) at Chaknwala, national president Chaudhari Diwakar Singh said that the Web sugar mill is not clearing pending cane dues of farmers, reports Amar Ujala.
Sugarcane farmers are facing financial problems as they are not getting their bills on time, he said.
He stated that while other sugar mills have been settling the outstanding cane dues of farmers, the Web sugar mill in Dhanaura is yet to clear dues amounting to Rs. 121 crore. In response to this situation, they intend to stage a protest against the mill in the near future.
