Amroha: Sugarcane farmers have stated that they are not happy with the speed at which the mills are clearing their cane dues, reports Live Hindustan.
ADM Bhagwan Sharan has asked all the sugar mills to submit the details about the payment of cane dues done by them for the ongoing crushing season.
Sugar mills in the district have cleared Rs 1587.81 crore (89.10%) to the farmers against total dues of Rs 1781.99 crore. Taking note of pending cane dues, the district official has asked the millers to pay pending cane dues at the earliest.
