Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex ended 223.01 points lower at 62,625.63, whereas Nifty concluded 71.15 points down at 18,563.40.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 294.32 points lower at 62,848.64, whereas Nifty concluded 91.90 points up at 18,634.50.
Top losers on the Nifty were Hero MotoCorp, Divis Laboratories, Tata Steel, HDFC Life and Eicher Motors, while gainers included IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank, L&T, Adani Enterprises and Power Grid Corporation.
