Rishikesh: Doiwala sugar mill has received Rs 28.27 crore from the state government as a subsidy which will be used by the sugar mill to clear pending cane dues of farmers, reports Live Hindustan.
D P Singh, Managing Director of the sugar mill thanked the state government for providing financial assistance to the mill for clearing cane dues of farmers. The received amount will be transferred to the bank accounts of the respective farmers through the cooperative sugarcane committees, he said. With this the mill would be able to clear all the pending cane dues of the farmers, said Singh.
