Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex ended 466.95 points higher at 63,384.58, whereas Nifty concluded 137.90 points low at 18,826.00.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 310.88 points lower at 62,917.63, whereas Nifty concluded 67.80 points low at 18,688.10.
From the Sensex pack, Bajaj Finserv and Titan were the top gainers, rising about 2%. ITC, Kotak Bank, HDFC Bank, HDFC and Bajaj Finance also closed higher. On the other hand only, Wipro, TCS, Power Grid, Tech Mahindra and UltraTech Cement closed in the red.
