Hapur, Uttar Pradesh: In a bid to address the issue of pending cane dues, Sugarcane Minister Chaudhari Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary has instructed government officials to take swift action in ensuring that farmers receive their payments promptly, according to a report by Live Hindustan.
Following a comprehensive evaluation of cane payments made by the mills, the minister expressed concern over the outstanding dues owed by Simbhaoli sugar mill, which has yet to make 100 percent cane payment.
In response to this situation, the minister issued directives to the government officials, urging them to prioritize the resolution of pending cane dues.
With the minister’s intervention, it is expected that necessary measures will be taken to expedite the payment process, providing much-needed relief to the farmers who have been awaiting their dues.
