Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex ended 9.37 points lower at 62,970.00, whereas Nifty concluded 25.70 points down at 18,691.20.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 259.52 points lower at 62,979.37, whereas Nifty concluded 105.75 points down at 18,665.50.
NTPC, Reliance Industries, TCS, Power Grid Corporation and Coal India were among the top losers on the Nifty, while gainers included Cipla, Hero MotoCorp, Adani Enterprises, Tata Consumer Products and Divis Laboratories.
