Sugar prices reported weakness, on subdued demand

Domestic sugar prices were reported to be weak in major markets after remaining stable for four sessions. Demand is reportedly low due to heavy rainfall in Maharashtra and a truck shortage in Uttar Pradesh. Rainfall has been reported to have dampened trading activity in Maharashtra. In Kolhapur, S-grade cost between Rs 3,470 and Rs 3,510, while M-grade in Uttar Pradesh is reported in the range of Rs 3,620 and Rs 3,660.

According to AgriMandi.live, the price of S grade is expected to trade between Rs 3,440 and Rs 3,550 per quintal in the Kolhapur markets in the near future.
