Meerut: A review of the sugarcane survey conducted last month has begun from July 20 and farmers have been appealed to check the details of the information they have submitted and clear any discrepancies, reports Live Hindustan.
Farmers are checking the details about the area under cane cultivation, the type of cane grown, and other details mentioned in the survey. They are informing the officials about any wrong entries in the survey.
The sugarcane department has stated that after reviewing the survey, the final survey will be uploaded on the website and no changes will be made in it later on.
District Cane Officer Dr. Dushyant Kumar said that the review of the survey is being conducted to ensure that there are no discrepancies in the data furnished by farmers.
