Ludhiana: As many as 166 petrol stations in Punjab are providing E20 blended petrol, reports Cityairnews.
The state ranks third in the country after Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, said Sanjeev Arora, MP (Rajya Sabha). The information was shared by the Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Rameswar Teli on the floor of the Rajya Sabha, he said.
Replying to the question asked by Arora, the minister updated the number of E20 petrol retail outlets in the country. The minister said that the current blending percentage as on July 23, 2023, is 11.77% and E20 petrol is available in more than 1600 retail outlets across the country.
As many as 218 E20 retail outlets are available in Maharashtra, followed by 180 in Uttar Pradesh and 166 in Punjab.
