Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex ended 480.57 points higher at 65,721.25, whereas Nifty concluded 135.35 points up at 19,517.00.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 542.10 points lower at 65,240.68, whereas Nifty concluded 144.90 points down at 19,381.65.
Biggest gainers on the Nifty were Cipla, IndusInd Bank, Tech Mahindra, Wipro and Bharti Airtel, while losers were SBI, Bajaj Auto, BPCL, NTPC and Maruti Suzuki.
