Manjhaul, Begusarai: A storm with heavy rains hit the district headquarters area on Sunday night, causing widespread damage to sugarcane crops and trees, reported Live Hindustan.
The storm uprooted sugarcane, maize, and millet crops. It also caused damage to trees in several places.
Farmers Murari Singh and Tarakant Singh hailing from the region said that the storm had destroyed their crops. They said that the sugarcane, maize, and millet crops had been destroyed.
