Bhaisana sugar mill officials inform farmers about precautions for red rot disease

Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh: Officials from the Bhaisana sugar mill in Daha, inform farmers about the red rot disease on Thursday, reported Live Hindustan.

Yogendra Dabas, sugarcane manager of the mill told farmers that the disease is currently widespread in sugarcane fields and it is important to take steps to prevent it. He said that the disease is not only harmful to farmers but also to mills.

Dabas advised farmers to remove and burn affected plants immediately. He also said that farmers should apply bleaching powder to the area where the infected plants were removed, and to reduce irrigation in the affected field.

The meeting was attended by Vikas Rana, Jaipal Singh, Sunil Kumar, Vicky, Satendra, Sanjeev Kumar, and Pappan Rana.
