Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex ended 221.09 points down at 66,009.15, whereas Nifty concluded 68.10 points lower at 19,674.25.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 570.60 points down at 66,230.24, whereas Nifty concluded 159.05 points lower at 19,742.35.
Power Grid, Asian Paints, Coal India, NTPC, HDFC Life were the top Nifty gainers whereasHDFC Bk, UltraTech, DRL, Wipro were the biggest laggards.
