Daily Sugar Market Update By Vizzie – 25/09/2023

ChiniMandi, Mumbai: 25th September 2023

Domestic Market

On weaker demand, domestic prices declined.

Sugar prices decreased in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh’s two largest markets due to weak demand. Demand is strong at lower resale rates, but tender rate demand is reportedly weak. The prices are also being affected by persistent rainfall activity over the main cane-growing regions of Maharashtra and North Karnataka.

In Kolhapur, quintals of S grade sugar cost between Rs. 3,640 and 3,670, while M grade prices in Muzaffarnagar range from Rs. 3,840 to 3,870. According to AgriMandi, the price of S grade sugar in Kolhapur markets will range between Rs 3,620 and Rs 3,700.
