Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex ended 78.22 points down at 65,945.47, whereas Nifty concluded 9.85 points lower at 19,664.70.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 14.54 points up at 66,023.69, whereas Nifty concluded 0.30 points lower at 19,674.55.
Eicher Motors, Nestle India, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp and ONGC were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers included IndusInd Bank, Tech Mahindra, Cipla, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Adani Enterprises.
