Mumbai: The benchmark indices ended higher for the second consecutive session on October 11 as traders continued to set aside fears related to the Israel-Palestine conflict.
Sensex ended 393.69 points higher at 66,473.05, whereas Nifty concluded 121.50 points up at 19,811.35.
In the previous season, the Sensex surged 566.97 points, reaching a closing figure of 66,079.36 , while the Nifty added 177.50 points to finish at 19,689.85.
Biggest gainers on the Nifty were Hero MotoCorp, Wipro, Grasim Industries, UltraTech Cement and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, while losers were HCL Technologies, Adani Ports, SBI, Coal India and TCS.
