Balangir, Odisha: No specific response came from the Government for reopening of a sugar mill at Deogaon or textile mills in the district during the District Planning Committee Meeting held on Friday, said Balangir MLA Narasingha Mishra, reported Daily Pioneer.
Mishra said that there was also absence of specific response from the government on how to check the migration from the district and how to provide employment to the people.
While speaking to mediapersons at the end of the District Planning Committee meeting, Balangir MP Sangeeta Singh Deo has expressed hope that a wagon maintenance plant will be set up in Kantabanji, Odisha. She said that a detailed project report (DPR) for the plant has been submitted and that they are waiting for the good news.
