Hapur, Uttar Pradesh: Simbhaoli sugar mill is set to start crushing operations for the 2023-24 season on November 5, reported Live Hindustan.
The mill’s chief general manager, Karan Singh, said that external purchase centers will begin purchasing sugarcane on November 3. The Mill gate and all purchase centers will begin purchasing sugarcane on November 5, and crushing operations will begin at the mill.
Singh also said that the mill is working to quickly pay sugarcane farmers for the previous season.
Sugarcane purchase orders for November 3 and 4 will be sent to farmers by the mill on October 31, according to the mill’s general manager (sugarcane), Vishwas Raj Singh.
