Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended lower on October 31.
Sensex ended 237.72 points down at 63,874.93, whereas Nifty concluded 61.30 points lower at 19,079.60.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 329.85 points higher at 64,112.65, whereas Nifty concluded 93.65 points up at 19,140.90.
Biggest lower on the Nifty were M&M, Sun Pharma, Eicher Motors, LTIMindtree and ONGC, while gainers included SBI Life Insurance, Titan Company, HDFC Life, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Asian Paints.
