Hapur: Joint Sugarcane Commissioner Dr. VB Singh said that this time the survey of sugarcane produced in the district would be done through Global Positioning System (GPS) technology, and also asked surveyors to learn the functioning of it in a quick a time. He set the deadline of June 30 to complete the survey and urged them to upload daily reports on sugar mill website.
Mr. Singh was in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur district to inspect the sugarcane survey work and said no irregularity and negligence would be tolerated in it. Meanwhile, he also paid a visit to the Hapur Sugarcane Committee and gave strict instructions regarding the maintenance of the documents.
During his visit, District Sugarcane Officer OP Singh, Senior sugarcane Officer Jagat Ram, Rajiv Seth, Manoj Kumar, Amanullah Khan, Fakirchand Sharma etc. were present.
