Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended lower on November 1.
Sensex ended 283.60 points down at 63,591.33, whereas Nifty concluded 90.45 points lower at 18,989.15
In the previous season, Sensex ended 237.72 points down at 63,874.93, whereas Nifty concluded 61.30 points lower at 19,079.60.
Top losers on the Nifty included Adani Enterprises, Coal India, Adani Ports, SBI Life Insurance and Asian Paints, while gainers were Sun Pharma, BPCL, Hindalco Industries, Bajaj Auto and Reliance Industries.
