Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended on a flat note in the volatile session on November 7.
Sensex ended 16.29 points lower at 64,942.40, whereas Nifty concluded 5.05 points down at 19,406.70.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 594.91 points higher at 64,958.69, whereas Nifty concluded 181.15 points up at 19,411.75.
Hero MotoCorp, Coal India, Bajaj Finance, JSW Steel and Divis Labs were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers included Sun Pharma, BPCL, NTPC, Axis Bank and Dr Reddy’s Labs.
