Chennai: In a statement released on Friday, the state government announced bonus and ex-gratia to the employees of 16 cooperative and two public sector sugar mills, reported The Times of India.
According to official release, the staff at Kallakurichi-II and Subramania Siva cooperative sugar mills will receive an 8.33% bonus and 11.67% ex-gratia. Meanwhile, employees of 14 cooperative and two public sector cooperative mills are set to benefit from an 8.33% bonus and 1.67% ex-gratia.
This decision is expected to positively impact 6,103 employees, with the government incurring an expenditure of 4.15 crore, as outlined in the release.
