Benchmark indices ended lower on November 13.
Sensex ended 325.58 points lower at 64,933.87, whereas Nifty concluded 82.00 points down at 19,443.55.
Some of the top Sensex losers were Bajaj Finance, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and ICICI Bank. However, shares of Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M), JSW Steel, NTPC, and Power Grid helped trim losses.
Today, Indian stocks opened the fresh week on a tepid note after a one-hour bumper Muhurat trade on Diwali evening.
The market will remain closed on Tuesday for Diwali-Balipratipada. Normal trade will resume on Wednesday.
