Benchmark indices ended higher on November 16.
Sensex ended 306.55 points higher at 65,982.48, whereas Nifty concluded 89.75 points up at 19,765.20.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 742.06 points higher at 65,675.93, whereas Nifty concluded 231.90 points up at 19,675.45.
Major Nifty gainers were Hero MotoCorp, Tech Mahindra, TCS, HCL Technologies and Infosys, while losers were Axis Bank, Coal India, Power Grid Corporation, Tata Consumer Products and Adani Enterprises.
